At the heart of Winterina is Johanna Castillo, a figure skater, designer, and muse whose love of winter began in childhood and grew into a lifelong devotion.
Raised in Honduras, Johanna first discovered winter through a television screen, transfixed by the grace of Olympic skaters. Years later, she laced up skates herself in Miami and felt the same spark she’d carried since childhood. The ice became her refuge, her inspiration, her art.
From training under city lights in New York to sketching designs at home in Miami, Johanna has woven her story into every detail of Winterina. The brand is her love letter to the world that has always moved her: a world where beauty is powerful, strength is graceful, and winter is never far away.
